Master
Brooks: A true citizen of Acumin. Having been born, raised
and trained at the Ranger Academy he now had risen to the rank of Master. A
kind person, he teaches and educates anyone willing to learn the ways of
nature. He also teaches the arts of war to a lesser extent. Not really liking
the bloodthirsty nature of the “young ones” that seem to be on an influx he
leaves most of the training to those under him. Described as a gentle but firm
human he tries to right the wrongs in Alleria.
Kravex
Mavrelate: Enigma, shadow, ghost. All of these descriptions fit
Kravex like a glove. He is neither good nor bad, merely…perfect. That is what
the people of Acumin see him as. He has no history, and seemingly, no future.
Living for the moment he is a joker, warrior and slight sadist. Working at the
Weapons Academy for food and lodging he seems at ease with everything. To dig
in his past would be to stare death in the eyes. No-one has, or ever will,
repeat the question “So…where do you come from?”
Huss-Mar: The perfect warrior. This Katta turned from her own. The Katta, know as diplomats, artists and more see Huss-Mar as uncultured, backwards, frightening. She has given up the normal ways of her race, studied her ancestors and their roots, and chosen a path of physical hardship and pain. She chose to be a warrior. Now teaching at the Acumin Weapons Academy she teaches her skills (that were learned for Dorin…removements) to any that are, in her eyes, worthy of them.
Eral: He was the first to truly embark on the lumber trade. There had been
one before, but not of any great importance. Organising work teams, shifts and
timed transports to and from the lumber camps he collected quite a fortune. As
he grew older he realised that the market was changing, and that he was
incapable of keeping up with this change. So after selling the organisation to
the O’Maray family he retired. Now he rests in the gardens dedicated to the
goddess Diana. With a crooked posture he sits on a specific bench telling
riddles and other brain teasers to any who want to listen. The left half of his
body lays paralysed after a vicious attack by someone his child friends have
called “Terrible Tasia”.
Tasia
the weak, Tasia the poor
Go home
Tasia, or you will be no more
Never again
should visit this place
-Lyric
composed by the children that hold Eral dear-
Morgan
Darnauk: Middle aged human that uses kindness to sell his
wares.
“Grumpy”
Sam: Sam is a disfigured gnome. Having appeared in Acumin
for over a hundred years ago no-one really knows why he came or where he came
from. All that is important now is that he sells medicines and chemicals to any
who are wishing to buy them. Branded as a fool, mentally disturbed and outright
barmy little critter he earned his name as Grumpy Sam for his short temper and
volatile actions. It is well know that he piles wealth upon wealth from his
special “viagra” formula, but who would dare to take it from him. The most
likely result would be a severe “fuzz-balling” before being dragged to the gaol.

this character)
Delma: Delma is quite the gossip. Who would not be after working in a hair
salon for twenty years. She earns her living by pampering the rich with new
hairstyles, nail varnishes, and clothing tips. Be sure to have something to say
in return or you might find a nasty rumour about yourself cross the lips of
many a “friend”.
Celena: A no
nonsense person. She helps people pick out the garb that reflects their character.
The price depends on your temperament and behaviour.
Fentar: Quite
good-natured to be a dwarf. Being a few hundred years old he had had plenty of
experience to perfect his trade.
Hamish
Farquarson: Hates Sam as much as Sam hates him. They
are bitter enemies and bitter rivals. Although Farquarson shows a gentler
nature than Sam their businesses are all too equal for any one of them to give
way.
