We are getting married
On our second year anniversary day Björn popped the question and I said yes.
This was the easy part. Now we had to figure out how we would like to celebrate this and how we would like to share it with family and friends.
We have decided to have the ceremony with family in July at Björn’s home village and to have a party with our friends in August at Pauline’s Danish hometown.

Ceremony with family
We will marry at 14.00 the 20 of July in Himmelsfärdskyrkan in Emmislöv. The church was build in 1190 by the Danish Bishop Absalon. It is the oldest brick church in Sweden. The officiated at the wedding will be Håkan Persson that is a friend of the Persson's.
Reception
After the cermony we will spend a nice afternoon and evening together, eating and getting to know each other at the Persson's home. The house has been in the family since the 1700 century and today the aunt of Björn and her family lives there. They have kindly let us use the house this special day.

The next Monday we will start our honey moon going to Italy.
How to find the church
Emmislöv lies 5 km outside Broby that is Björn's home town close to Kristanstad in east of Scania.

Party with friends
Just married, tanned and relaxed after our honey moon we would like to share our happinees with our friends by throwing a great party the 10 of August.
It will take place in the Danish village Helsingör at a restaurant in the marina close to the famous castle Kronborg .
Dresscode is informal dress (kavaj)
We will start with a welcoming in the garden of Pauline's dad at 16.30 at Möllebakken 10 that is a 15 minutes walk from the ferries.
Afterwards we will continue to the restaurant Kronborg Havbad at Strandpromenaden 6 that has a beatiful view over Sweden and Öresund.
The dinner is planned by our the party project leader Katarina Andersson that will guide us through a culinary menu of food and songs. If you have questions or if there is some food you are allergic to don't hesitate to contact us or Katarina (040-155915).
After dinner the dance floor and the bar is open and we know we will have a splendide evening and night together.

The camping place is on the beach few minutes from the restaurant.
Marienlyst hotel

A quality beach hotel with the first Scandinavian casino. They have double rooms from 950 dkk.
Helsingør Vandrerhjem

A hostel with its own beach about one kilometer north of the restaurant. The prices start at 100 dkk. You need an international youth hostel card or a temporary card costs 30 dkk per night.
If more than ten people make a booking you can ask for a special price. The 10 of August they still had available rooms for 3,4,5,6 and 8 persons.

Here you can find time tables for the ferries to Helsingborg (they take 20 minutes and go all night) and trains to Copenhagen, Malmö and Lund (goes every hour during the night). Here you can also find tips on other attractions in the region such as Lousiana and Helsingborg.
