The Järsberg Stone  

The Järsberg stone stands in southeast Värmland, not far from Kristinehamn.

The runes of the Järsberg inscription are:

Transliterated this can be written as:

t-i-a-h e-k-e-r-i l-o-a-k
r-u-n o-z w a-r-i-t-a
u b-a-k h-i-t-e
h-a-r-a-b a-n-k-e

This text is close to the Blekinge inscriptions in language. Thus its language is quite closely related to Biblical Hebrew and Aramaic. We can therefore even write it by means of the Hebrew script:

The meaning of this is:

The mud of my moist field, rejoicing of the strength and the pudenda, and the sinful fissure, the groaning desolation.

The following sums are obtained by summing up the gematrical values of the runes in the Järsberg inscription:

Row 1: 16 + 10 + 3 + 8 + 18 + 5 + 18 + 4 + 10 + 20 + 23 + 3 + 5 + 4 + 1 + 9 + 23 + 14 + 7 + 3 + 4 + 10 + 16 + 3 = 237.

Row 2: 1 + 17 + 3 + 5 + 8 + 10 + 16 + 18 + 8 + 3 + 4 + 3 + 17 + 3 + 9 + 5 + 18 = 148.

In total we therefore have 237 + 148 = 385, which also can be written as 77×5. Thus we have again a gematrical sum which is divisible by seven. It is also interesting to note that the expression "b-a-k h-i-t-e" has the gematrical sum 77 and that the expression "h-a-r-a-b a-n-k-e" has the gematrical sum 70.
