| Thomas
Rusiak hooked up with his then soon-to-be crew Sherlock (at that time consisting
of Sebroc, PeeWee, Speedknock and Infrared) in 1995, recording a track
for an EP which was never released. A year later, Rusiak replaced Infrared
(who is now recording in Swedish under his given name Oscar Franzén)
and became the official fourth member of the group. Since Sherlock’s 1997
debut album, Thomas Rusiak has been busy at work as a producer (on behalf
of the production unit Masterminded), lacing tracks for artists like his
man Petter and Sweden’s foremost soul singer Titiyo, amongst others. Lately,
he’s also been recording several solo
tracks. Two of those, "Suckers" and "Legends Of the Fall", were released
as a 12" in 1998, that immediately became an underground favourite. On
"Suckers", Rusiak is accompanied by Sherlock’s PeeWee. Also featured on
the album is the mighty "Empire", which was produced by fellow Masterminded
member (and former Doughnut) Mike Kitigai. |
