Childhood

I was born hundred years ago, well thirty anyway, in the beautiful county of Järfälla, a nice little suburb outside the capitol of Sweden, Stockholm. My childhood was a very happy one. As I recall it, there wasn't even one single rainy day in Sweden back then.

Background
After finishing secondary school, I started working for a Swedish organisation placed in Stockholm - The Swedish Association of Free Enterprise. A couple of years later, I took some time off to improve my knowledge of the Italian language and went to
Rome to study. I returned to Stockholm for a while in 1991, but moved to Switzerland around christmas time the same year. In Switzerland there was some excellent skiing and living in Basle was really nice since its so nicely placed in the middle of Europe. I was employed at IKEA Trading und Design. My first child, Ornella was born in Basle in 1994. Ornella's father is my husband since 1992, Dario.

Current occupation
I am presently employed with an asset management company in Sweden where I've been working since May 1995 (apart from the time I've been busy changing nappies). I also work as a free lance translator - maily translating from English/Italian or German into Swedish. Some examples of this are one of my favourite cartoons
The Bananaman. Another example is the classical christmas story The Forgotten Toys.
