She started her career as a model in the mid 60's but didn't get a lot of attention until she starred in two Woody Allen film's Annie Hall
and If Ever See You Again. Then followed some television films and more modelling before she got a role in Charlie's Angels.
The time as an angel
When the producers someone to replace Kate Jackson the show they hired Shelley Hack. They thought she could give the show a "classic look" but it didn't work and the show lost a huge part of their viewers during the season she took part in the show.
Late Career
When she left Charlie's Angels after only one year she moved on to work in some other series but none of them were very long-lasting. Since it didn't seem like she had any success in different series she has continued to make movies and despite she hasn't made any really big movies she have made some good ones. In the mid 90's run she for a government office but didn't succeed.
