David Doyle was the only male Angel in the show. He played the part of John Bosley who was the assistant to the mysterious 'Charlie'. In each episode Bosley relays messages from his boss to the girls, giving them instructions for each case.
Although throughout the years there were many different Angels, Doyle remained loyal to the series as John Bosley for the entire run of Charlie's Angels from 1976 to 1981.
