The XKR.
In October 1948, a new breed of Jaguar sports car emerged, the XK120 was to take
the motoring world by storm. The Jaguar XK models had stunning lines, delivered immensely
powerful performance, were boldly innovative and were the first volume production
car to be fitted with twin overhead camshaft engines. The XK150 was the first production
car to feature four wheel disc braking. The Jaguar D-type, equipped with disc brakes,
won the Le Mans 24 hour race for three consecutive years from 1955 onwards. The power,
