Can you believe it ?? Protoman has turned evil. He has kidnapped Dr. Light!!
        Is he the leader of the vicious army that is destroying the world ???
        Megaman was set out to destroy them.

        In Megaman 5 there's 8 letters spelling the word Megaman 5.
        If you find 'em all you get Beat !! There's one letter on each stage.

              Use Mega Buster. He can only take damage when he has made a big jump and
        become a pile of stone. Then, when he gets up again you can hit him for a second,
        but you must fire quickly!
        The letter G can be found in the room with two ladders near the beginning.
        Shoot the stone blocks near the floor. They don't look similar to the others.

            Use Power Stone. Just set off the stones and they will hit him almost every time.
        The letter A can be found in the little window in the big room, in the middle of the stage.

            Use Charge kick and slide into him.
        Remember that the charge kick is a strange weapon.
        If you try pressing the fire button it won't work. Just make a normal slide.
        The letter E can be found in the Jet Ride.

            Use the Water Wave. It works even when he is surrounded by his star shield.
        The letter M can be found near the ceiling in the middle of the stage.

            Use Star Crash. Stand beside him when he changes place with you.
        The Star shield will hit, and damage him.
        The letter M can be found in the middle of the stage. You won't miss it.
        Make a big jump and you'll get it.

            Use the Gravity Hold. You just have to press the button to damage him.
        He could easily be killed without any loose of damage!
        The letter A can be found at the falling blocks. You can't miss it.
        It's hard to get. Stand on the block right over the A. When it has dropped down a bit
        so you get the A, quickly jump to the next block and start run again.

            Use the Gyro Attack.
        The letter V can be found in the spike pit. Hold left after the first spikes.

            Use the Crystal Eye.
        The letter N can't be missed. Really Easy to get too.
 

                                    
                                                     "Time to face Protoman"

                        Use Water wave. Not to hard.

                        Use Crystal Eye.

                        Use  Gyro attack. Remember that you can change the direction of it once.
        Either press up or down !

                                                    
      You'll never have to fight the real protoman, of course. Not even the fake one.
       The real Protoman appears in the last moment and destroys the fake proto.
       Instead, you'll have to fight the Darkman robot.

                       Use beat simply.
 
 

       "You've done well megaman, I never expected you to defeat my Darkman robot"

       "Until now I have managed to frame protoman for my crimes, but now the real
                              protoman has  appeared, and spoiled my plan !"

       "Dr.light is a captive in my lab! Come if you dare ! Ha, Ha, Ha"
 

                            Fire at the first platform, jump up then fire at the second.
         Jump up and charge the Mega buster (or use Crystal Eye).Then fire at his head!

                Use the Gyro Attack when his flaps are open!
        Be sure you move around the room and don't stay at the same place, 'cause you will get hit.

                                                 
                                                                     The boss locations...,
 

          Easy. Just stand in the middle of the room (not exactly :-))
        Wait for him to decide where to attack,
        then move to a safe corner and have the Mega Buster ready!

                     Use the Mega Buster and fire towards his mouth.
        Watch for the balls!
 

        Let beat take care of him, while you're dodging his attacks !!
