ARNI is available in two versions: STANDARD and GRAPHIC version.
In the STANDARD version you enter shots/points
and other information like puts,
fairwayhits, bunkershots etc.
In the GRAPHIC version you enter your
score graphic on pictures of the hole.
Different areas are on the hole is painted
with different colours and this provides ARNI
with all necessary information to create statistics.
A very important objective at the creation
of ARNI was to make registration of
a round as easy as possible.
To register a round with the graphic method
will take you about 5 - 7 minutes only.
You select a club from a list. Then mark the
spot where the ball has landed.
The pictures of the holes will include as
much information as possible to make it
easy for you to identify the ball postions:
fairway, rough, hazards, out, trees, wood, bushes
etc. Also the length of the shot and the remaining
distance to hole is shown when you
mark a shot.
ARNI will give you a lot of interesting information
about your game.
All statistic is shown in tables and graphic
(don't mix this with graphic input!) and can be
printed on a printer.
Your handicap can be updated after the registration
of a score is completed.
ARNI is originally a Swedish system and the update
of your handicap follows the
Swedish rules. These rules might not be applicable
for other countries. However, this is not
a problem. The automatic update of your handicap
is optional. You can, at any time, update
your handicap manually.
ARNI also includes a module that keeps track of the costs for your golf. Can be interesting!
ARNI includes a functionality that is very interesting
if you play on courses with less than, or
more than 18 holes, e.g. if you have three 9-holes
loops and where an 18-holes round can be
combined in different ways. A specific hole can
here be e.g. hole no. 1 in one round and
hole no. 10 in another. ARNI will manage to analyse
your game on this hole independent of
how your round 18-holesround is combined.
Examples of other features in ARNI:
-Slopetables can be created by entering slopevalue
and course rating
-Possibility to enter wind force. When you analyse
your shots in the statistic part,
you can exclude shots played in too
strong wind.
-Remarks (250 char) can be entered for each round.
-Remarks can be entered for penaltyshots (e,g, reason
for penalty).
-Easy searchfunctions for players, courses, scores.
-Full functionality for 9-hole rounds.
-Possibility to give your own names on the clubs.
You can call your driver 'Bertha' if you want!
-ARNI supports different date formats (yymmdd, ddmmyy,
mmddyy)
ARNI can be used for an unlimited number of players on an unlimited number of courses.
