16th note Arpeggios. |
#2. Lick number two is based on the same arpeggio as number one. This time we start on the third string, and add an extra note (the fourth in C-major, "F"). Since the lick only spans three strings, and contains some pull-offs, it's quite easy to get up to speed. The difficulty is, as with all arpeggios, to separate the notes so the don't "bleed into" each other. Start slow and go for precision rather than speed - and speed will come automatically. The midi-file features the lick played over an a-minor, then a c-major chord.
