"Its better to defend then attack", people often say when it comes to
A bridge to far.But of course, with a well balanced BattleMaker map it
should be fair to both sides? The teams moral is very important here. If you
defend, you donīt usually need that good morale in your troops, as u
need to attack with the very same troops.
A good attacking force should consist of high moral teams, which are SS-troops or
FJ-troops, right? But then, they are real expensive on the other hand, so how do you
choose then?
Well its all about your own experience of course, mine is this: I always have
some high quality units in the attackforce but, I fill it up with army units to get
the slots full, if possible. Why? Because when you attack you always have
to sacrifice some of your men, why not the low cost troops?
In some cases I use them to screen areas my tanks will advance in. Or when I'm going to
assault an area I can use them to scout for enemies. And when doing this
maybe you can afford some extra support instead, although in the end,
infantry units can end up being the most valuable units you have left. That is,
when you want to take a certain victory location, out of the vehicles reaching
point.Or when defending a vl, with one tank you cant see s**t.
