My first bike was a 1987 Yamaha XJ 600. I covered 13 000 KM on it in a year which I quite much considering the weather conditions in Sweden. Snow and ice prevents one from riding all year round. It never failed me and was a perfect first bike.

My second bike, a 1998 Honda VFR 800 which I had for two years and I drove it for 22 000 KM and I must say I was never dissapointed with the alround handling and touring capacity. It also gave good milage. The picture below is one I took just before I sold it. It still looks brand new.

Not many engines have the torque that the Kawasaki ZZR 1100 has. It was for long the most powerful bike I ever had the chance to ride. Back in 1998 I was thinking of buying one  but I chose to buy a Honda VFR 800 because it's steering was quicker.

Can one fall in love with the sound of V-twins? Yes, especially if the sound (I call it music) comes from a Ducati 916. If I could afford two bikes I would like to have one like this too. I'ts successor, the 996 is even better!

Want to be the fastest at the traffic lights? Checkout this MOTOR-bike! 1400 CC pure power! The drawback shows first when you want to turn fast. The bike has now been around for some time and the 140-145 Hp it delivers is no longer a match for bikes like Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki ZX 12 R and Honda Blackbird.
