Humming when computer is connected to stereo.
When I connected my computer to the stereo there was a lot of noise (hum).
The hum was caused by a ground loop between the cable TV ground (antenna) and the grounded outlet which the
computer was connected to.
A solution is to buy a cheap line transformer for audio use (ground separator, galvanic separator)
and place it between stereo and computer.

This one is from "Biltema" in Sweden.
Joystick adapter.
Amiga500/Commodore64 to PC.
This adapter enables you to use an old joystick (TAC-2) with no analog function.
The adapter makes the joystick behave as an analog joystick but with only three positions for
each direction (for example left ,middle ,right).
(For a more perfect function one should adjust the values of the 100k resistors.
As it is now the middle position is not exactly in the middle.)

I have NOT tested this therefore I do not know if it works in the same direction (left ,right).
Reading a DS1820 temperature sensor.
Reading a Dallas semiconductor DS1820 without the use of a "UART" IC.
The timing in this protocol is critical so it’s not so sure the program works on all computers.
The connection of the DS1820 is a very simple one (LPT1) and only intended for testing of ONE sensor.
The programming (c++) is probably quite bad and only commented in Swedish.
