A professional qualification in Librarianship or Information Science - either at degree or post-graduate level or obtained through the Library
Association or Institute of Information Scientists. Ideally, you should also have practical experience. We're looking for a proven ability to
retrieve information rapidly and effectively, manage staff and IT resources and promote services to internal customers.
Starting salaries presently range from £17,063 to £22,109 depending on experience and
qualifications. Performance related pay enables those who perform
to a consistently high standard to benefit accordingly. Salaries are reviewed annually in
October.
