ScrollCast V2.00 ...
You are free to utilize the ScrollCast classes
wherever and whenever you like (as long as
the application is legal, of course)! There are
certainly no fees whatsoever.
To implement ScrollCast as a separate frame, throw
the following code into your html file (replacing
"insert file URL here" with the place where the
instruction file resides, such as:
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Horizon/5382/ScrollParam.txt):
*Note: browsers generally restrict access
to the originating applet server; therefore, the
instruction file must exist on the same server
on which the ScrollCast class files exist.
To implement ScrollCast within the web page, use:
Note that the width and height of the applet (in
the case where SeparateFrame = NO) should
be adjusted according to the specified framesize as
listed in the instruction file (it doesn't have to
be, but it kinda makes sense to do so).
Also, note that, for speed purposes, the
image width is presently limited to 300 pixels,
and the total rendered image height is 1500
pixels. This should allow images to be
displayed reasonably well on '486 machines.
It's is easy as that! Check out the instructions
on the ScrollCast homepage on how to create the
instruction file. A sample instruction file is
included in the zip file.
Have fun!!
