Jennifer Aniston

Rachel Green

The Character:

Jennifer Aniston is playing Rachel Karen Green a girl/woman in her mid twenties (well she's not thirty yet...) who left her husband to be at the altar, looking up her old Highschool friend Monica. That's where the series begin.
She moves in with Monica and starts a whole new life, without her fathers money and credit cards. Although she'd never had a job in her life, she starts working at Central Perk, the Coffee House just across the street from their appartment.
Working as a waitress is not her dream, and let's face it, she'd never be waitress of the year, but she continues working there for quite a while. And then one day she just quits! She finds another job that is more related to her interests, fashion. But it seems to be even worse than the waitressing job. But she's in luck.. as she's at the Hamburger bar where Monica works, this 'Mark guy' tell her about a job as assistant buyer at Bloomingdale's, and that's where she's working now!
Her boyfriends come and go, and she's totally unaware of Ross having a major crush on her. She finally finds out as Chandler accidently opens his mouth. After a lot of trouble they finally get together, but after a while she wants a break, and of course Ross makes a (very) small mistake going to bed with another girl, the very same night. This causes a lot of trouble, and their break seems to be lifelong.
