Motiv8´s started in 1986. The main goal was to offer dances at advanced and challenged level. It became necessary to create such organisation to gather dancers who will not get the possibility to practice these levels within their "home" club.

This club was created in Stockholm because this area has the largest number of dancers at these levels.

The rules to become member of Motiv8's are to be able to dance the A1 level and already be member of another club (for dancers from Sweden).

We started to organise our festivals in 1990. These dances are usually scheduled in the beginning of february and october. A festival usually covers three days with levels from A1 to C3A. Most of the callers are known from the National Advanced and Challenge Convention i USA.

We want to give a chance to the advanced dancers to experience how a challenging calling can feel. We want to offer the challenge dancers a high quality dancing with top callers they may know from recorded tapes.
