  Spock is half Vulcan and half Human. His physics are those of a Vulcan and he is a follower of the teaching of Surak. Thereby not letting himself be affected by emotions but instead uses the principles of logic.

 Spock is Enterprises joint First Officer and Science Officer. He is considered StarFleets best first officer. He is extremelly loyal to the Captain and never leaves his post. He is extremelly reliable during dangerous our pressing situations. Preferres to use his mind as a weapon but can use physical violence when situations demands it. Spock masters the Vulcan Nerve-pinch which renders the subject unconscious.
Very resourcefull and his sharp mind has rescued the Captain out of many tight spots.

 Left StarFleet after the five-year mission for a teacher-position on Vulcan. He denied the offer to be Captain on the research vessel Grissom. Were engaged to be married but he broke the engagement.

 Returned to StarFleet and his prior position when Captain Kirk re-assumed command of the Enterprise. Served without errors and decorated several times. After Kirk was re-assigned to the Admirality, Spock became an Ambassador for the Federation.

 At present time he is on a secret mission in Romulan space where he is trying to re-unite Romulans and  the Vulcans. Romulans and Vulcans were previously one people, but the Vulcans chose to teaching of Surak and the Romulans wanted to continue to fight each-others and left Vulcan.
