About me | |
| My name is Siv Larsson and I live in Överkalix in the north of Sweden. Click here to find out more about my home town (link to a web site made by students at senior high here in Överkalix). | |
| I live with my family in the countryside a few kilometres north of town. It's the village where I grew up - in fact our sons are the 13th generation to live here on the same spot. | |
My hair | |
| No, not all Swedish women are tall, blue-eyed blondes......and yes, I am a true redhead. Well........almost. When I was younger my hair was extremely red. And guess what? I hated it!!! Now, at the age of 31, when I'm ahem.....more mature ;) I realise what a treasure red hair is......so I have to help Mother Nature a bit and add some extra gloss'n'shine............ | |
Music | |
| I love music. I play the piano, the organ, the recorder and I sing. I prefer music from the baroque era and J S Bach is one of my favourite composers. I got my MA in Music and English at Piteå School of Music: Musikhögskolan i Piteå | |
| I play the church organ and sing at services, funerals etc. Unfortunately not so often nowadays since I've decided to be a "real" stay-at-home-mum this year. | |
| I like listening to West Coast Music, especially Bill Champlin, David Foster, Chicago and Toto. Other favourites are: Céline Dion, Phil Collins, Vaya Con Dios and Gino Vanelli. Jazz is OK - from big band music to soft saxophone ballads. I wish I could play jazz on the piano, but I can't. Or perhaps I should say I've never learned how to........ Since I went to the conservatory I prefer sheet music in front of me :-) |
