Handling of metal
plates with MHU Scara

Robot:
MHU
SCARA / PPC.
Gripper: Special
design vacuum gripper that handles two plates simultaneously.
Handled part: Metal
plates with a weight of approxiamtely 1kg/plate.
Magazine: The
plates are transported to the robot from a MHU Carousel magazine.
They are placed after finished cykle on a chute for
transportation to a pallett.
Work cykle: The
MHU Scara robot takes two flanges from a carousel magazine,
rotates to a mill cutter and places the parts on a table infront
of machine. The table moves in to the mill cutter and the machine
starts. The mill cutter sends the table back to the previous
position when the flanges are finished. Then the MHU Scara takes
the flanges, rotates and places them in a deburring machine. The
flanges are then transported to a threading machine by the MHU
Scara. The robot waits for the machine to finish and then takes
the flanges , rotates to a chute (that runs to a pallett) and
drops them.
Cykle time: Approximately 45 sekunder.
