I guess everybody who writes songs has their own opinion about this, but for me it seems to be like this; when I get an idea for a song I have to finish it all the way and write it down or at least record it in some form. Otherwise the idea stands in the way for other ones to come out. If I donīt get it out I will get no more ideas. So my tip to all of you out there is: Record or write down your idea. It doesnīt matter if itīs silly or too short, too dumb, sounds like another song or whatever. Just get it out of your system! And remember; Your idea about silliness may be another persons idea about brilliance! |
