The Strv 74 was a rebuilt Strv m/42 with a new turret. The tank had a high siluette and rumors said that you had better not fire the gun straight 3 or 9 o´clock, or it would tip over. It was a good shooter however. It is also said that it was the only tank in the world that could take cover behind a lamppost and still fire over it. When the tanks were phased out the turrets were kept for gunemplacements at airfields and ports.
