Thomas, Christer and Johan sat down in August 96 and said: We should start a band, we allready have two guitarists and a drummer. That was the concept for a band called SITH short for Smeg in the head ( the name was inspired by the English TV-serie Red Dwarf). We had been looking for a bassist for a while and after two month we asked our friend Joakim if he had the time to play with us. Every time he came to play he had a friend with him, Markus, who asked us if he could sing with SiTH and we said Yes. With two new members we changed name into Empty Water, Thomas found out a wierd spelling, MT-HOO (Empty H₂O,you know you pronounce it H two O) After a while we understand that Markus sang out of tune and we went back as it were in SITH where Thomas sang.

In SITH and MT-HOO we were pretty untight and we sounded bad but we became better and better and thaught that we needed a New fresh start, We changed name into WHATEVER.( in the spring 97 we got a hold of a trumpet player ,Tobias,who nowadays plays with us.)

Since then we have rehearsed alot and play a couple of gigs. In the autum of 98 we recorded our album Pyjamas horse. In october Johan went in to the military service in the Swedish navy. Because of this, it was tuff to find time to rehearse. It didn't became better when first Christer went in the military service as a civilian firefighter and then Thomas as a airport firefighter. This was not the end of our problem because Joakim has a shift work. From october 99 it became much brighter when both Johan and Christer demobed. We believed that we had a brighter year in front of us until we found out that Joakim had to do the f***ing military service.
