Thieves in the hotel ?

Three men wanted a hotel - room for one night , and the room cost 25 pounds.
The piccolo showed the men to their room , then he told them that he could run down to the
reception and pay for the room if they wanted too. The three men thought that was a good idea.
Each of them gave the piccolo 10 pounds = 30 pounds. And the piccolo was quickly back with the
change = 5 pounds. Then each man took 1 pound , and leave 2 pounds for the piccolo.

Now each man have payed 9 pounds , right ? 3 * 9 = 27
And then they gave 2 pounds to the piccolo. 27 + 2 = 29
