Accomodation

We are looking forward to a fantastic weekend and we have booked accomodation at Klintagården for
our wedding guests. There are a wide range of rooms from single rooms to
family rooms with six beds and even cottages.
We can offer you a special wedding price of 125 SEK perperson and night.
Children under 12 receive free accommodation.
There is also the possibility of camping or caravanning.
You would then only pay for breakfast: 40 SEKper person.

Weekend programme

A wedding ceremony and reception goes so fast.
Why just settle for a one day celebration?
We want time to be with our friends and also to give them time to be with each other.
Therefore we invite you to a celebration that will last three days!!!

Friday
Weather allowing we will arrange a barbeque
at Äleklinta beach just 12 km north of Klintagården.
We depart from Klintagården at 7 pm.
Be in your best barbeque humour and bring along some songsso
that we can have a sing a’long, eat a good meal and enjoy the sunset at Kalmarsund.

Saturday
The are a lot of various activities we can offer you today.
Perhaps the weather invites you to the beach for a swim or
why not enjoy one of the many outings that we can offer you.
We depart from Klintagården at 10 am. and return around 2 pm.
Here is a selection of outings.
Please let us know on the Friday which outing you choose to do.

The Golf Tour
Enjoy a Golf Tour on Ekerums 27 hole golf course with
a beautiful view over Kalmarsund

The Castle Tour
Together with a local guide you will be guided through Borgholms castle
and take a stroll in Sollidens beautiful park.

The Culture Trip
Öland is more than just castles and golf.
Other attractions include Himmelseberga outdoor museum,
Lerkaka and more. Perhaps you would like to visit one the many local ceramics.

The Nature Tour
The Island of the sun and wind is the epithet that Öland often bears.
A visit to Ölands ”Allvaret” and ”Världsnaturarvet”
will give you a feeling for Ölands wild life, nature and animal life.

Sunday
Even the best of feasts have to have an end.
But you don’t have to leave the Öland in a hurry
We will be staying on the island all Sunday and there is more to see and do.
We can give help tips and help on where to visit the South side of Öland
and Eketorps castle, Ottenby and “Allvaret”.
Or why not take a trip to Paradisverkstaden in Färjestaden?
It is also possible to take on of the tours
from Saturday that you perhaps didn’t have time to do.
