It's cheap in Bulgaria and here you can live well without spending a greater amount of money. You can have a dinner for 4-6 dollars. I'm sure you will run in to "chicken kebab" which costs about 1,5 dollars. This we can recommend. We ate it after being on the beach at four occasions. It tasted very good every time and we never got sick.
On the discos you can drink for example two tequilas for 0,3 dollars and two beers for 1 dollar during happy hour. They take these prices when you drink Bulgarian alcohol. Imported alcohol as Counter and Absolute vodka costs more, but is still cheap.
At our visit in Sunny Beach we stayed at hotel Fein, which is a hotel
we can recommend. Hotel Iskar that lies just across the street is also
a very nice hotel. Here you can enjoy entertainment from the travel
agency "Fritisresor's" personnel. See the picture below.
You can run in to people in the street who want you to exchange money
with them. They claim they have the best currency rate. Don't be fooled.
They will give you old money or try to fool you in some other way.
We give the beach a good grade. The sand is fine and there are no big
stones that will hurt your feet. At the beach you can enjoy different
activities as
jetski, paragliding and a ride with the
bananaboat. Here you can also find a kind of bungyjump that will
pull you up in the sky (see a picture).
The beach with hotell Fenix and hotell Iskar.
There are about 5-8 different discos to choose between. They all lie
centered so you don't have to walk far to get to the next disco.
When we visited Sunny Beach "Lazur" was one of the most popular discos.
