Daggerfall homepage

I have dedicated this homepage to the glorious game of Daggerfall. The game was released 960925 in Sweden. The game is about the world of daggerfall and its mysteries. I am also a proud member of SoTES, Scribes of The Elder Scrolls.

The game is the second chapter of "Elder scrolls" The first chapter was Arena. Which was played in the world of Tamriel, the quest was to gather the 7 pieces of the staff of chaos. The chapter is even bigger than Arena and much better. This time you get a mission from the emperror him self to find out why an dead soldier and his army is terrorising the streets of Daggerfall. The map is divieded into more than 30 countries and regions.

These bastards are seen allmost everywhere in the game and
lucky for us they aren´t too hard to kill. In the game you can also buy houses and boats, if you´ve the cash for it. A house costs about 500,000 - 700,000 gold coins and boats cost between 100,000 and 200,000 gold coins. So as you can see that money is important. You can stack alot of your goods in your house or your boat, but you can also buy a horse and a wagon. On the horse you will travel faster in the cities and if you have a wagon you can store up to 1000 kg extra...Well 750 kg in the latest patches. I strongly recomend that you check out Bethesda hompage every once and a while for the newest patch.

You should probably wait until you have reach 3-4th level before you put your nose in a dungeon or any other difficult quest. I had a sneak peek in the hint book and found that most of the quests for artefacts is given from daedras which you have summoned from guilds or in Witch covens, their location is hidden, but I will be back on that soon. The are lots of guilds all around the bay and they all allow you to train if you are a member, but you have to climb ranks to get access to all things in the guild. The only thing you have to look at is their "Guild skills". You have to have at least 1 high skill in their "Guild skills". There are 9 ranks in each guild, starting from 0. I only know two guilds that have an Itemmaker, Mage guild and the Temple of Julianos. The Itemmaker let you create your own magic weapons and things...Do I have to tell you how good that is? I have troubles climbing rank in Temples but in The Fighters Guild it is the other way. And remember everything depends on your reputation.

If you want a good weapon or armor in the beginning of your gaming you have to cash up about 5000 coins, but hopefully you can find the most of the stuff when you are fighting your way in the dungeons. After level 8 "the red thing" that we all love appears in the shops, that´s daedric material. I have bought myself a daedric Dai-katana....The most damaging weapon in the game. It costed 98000 gold coins!! I find many magical things in the dungeons but I have never found a magic weapon. I haven´t figured out how to repair magic items...yet.
I have recived lots of mails about how you can repair magical items or not. But if you have read the readme file you would have seen that if you just add a certain string in your dat-file it is possible to repair those life giving items of yours.

When you advance in levels it is not your ability to kill monsters that is in centre but your advances in your primary, major and minor skills. When You have reached a certained skill-level your character will advance a level. You get a different amount of points to set out on your stats, and your health points go up with 1-12 points depending on your class and Endurance. The game has 18 different proffesions to choose from. Ex. Warrior, Socerer, Thief. Personally I think it is most fun to make a custom class and chose High Elf, they are immune to paralysis, and then chose weak to paralysis, then you get alot of credit to raise special affekts on your character.

If you have any complains or suggestions to make or if you just like to add your URL. And if you have a solution to my problems I would be more than happy to hear from you.
