I have plans to write a bit about mentorship on here, but have not done so yet. Don't expect any quick progress.

Mentor was the name of an old friend of Odysseus. Homeros wrote about them in ancient Greece. This Mentor was the person the goddess Athena chosed to show herself as when she guided Telémachos, Odysseus young son, while the father was away in the Troyan wars and later on his long odyssée home to Ithaka.
