| The big (1715 mē) house
Alvgarden in Alvkarleby Sweden is now for sale. The
house is built 1892-1893 and theres also a building
(Warm warehouse 560 mē, in good condition from 1985)
located in the back yard. The building has been a
furniture store for about 40 years and before that it
was a old people`s home, but is now owned by 3
private persons. The house is under re-construction
and 2 apartments (about 220 mē each) is under
construction on the middle floor (depending on
personal needs at least one of them is ready for
occupation). The rest of the house was meant to be a
Bed and Breakfast and that is problebly still a good
idea. But for personal reasons we now have to sell.
The house has about 35 rooms total on all floors
except basement and the smalest is about 10 mē and
the largest is about 52 mē all with 3,2 m to the
roof. One of the rooms on the ground floor has 8 wal
paintings from 1935 - 1938 in different sizes. The
heatingsystem (oil) is broken, but old spare parts is
availlable but the best solution is problebly to
change type of heating sytem. Even some pluming in
the heating system has to be taken care of. The house
also need some new painting and repair both inside
and outside, but there are huge possibility`s. For
