applications for 20 years. They are used in electrical motors, generators,
transformers, power stations, etc. In power stations and transformer buildings,
they are used for walkways, platforms and cable trays. The electrical
insulation is most often combined with the need for high strength and
low weight, not to mention corrosion resistance and fire retardancy.
Fiberbar rebar for concrete reinforcement is also used in electrical environments, when used in the foundations, walls and roofs of buildings for transformers and reactors. Fiberbar rebar provides electromagnetic transparancy. Fibreglass profiles are also used as structures for telecommunications towers.
