In many ways,
Subcyde are a yin-yang Alt Metal band crisp acoustic guitars give
way to the most massive riffs you have ever heard, while melodic
vocals give way to hoarse growls in choruses. It works -- this

Subcyde is a metal band located in Stockholm, Sweden. First
names like Diabolica and later on Subside which became Subcyde.
Formed 1997 by Johan and Ola. Lateron basist Martin and singer
Antonio joined and the mayhem was just about to begin.
Frequently playing festivals/live shows around sweden, they´ve
also paricipated in several band contests and have reached the
finals in the majority of them. In one of these contests,
guitarist Ola Englund won an individual price for being the Best
Guitarist of the year 2000.
In the past 2 years they´ve been releasing demos, the latest
release named Words was recorded 24-25 of March 2001.
