1. This is a short explanation how to make
your own optical output for
the Creative SB Live Value
sound card. It requires Soldering skills and
for this version also Equipment
and knowledge for making PCB board's.
2. First you need a Soldering Iron, or
station, Preferably with a fine tip.
You will need etching equipment
to take away the copper from the PCB.
You also need a UV-Exposer
and what goes with that.

4. All layout work has been done in Eagle
.
And drilling and Soldering has been done by hand
using an ordinairy
30 000 rpm drill tower and Soldering station.
All components have been bought from ELFA
.
