I started out with music when I was only 5 years old, playing 'Spiskroksvalsen' (pokerwalz) on the piano. Then I heard Elvis on the radio and 'got stung' by the guitar and nothing was the same anymore.

Despite the fact that I tried a lot of instruments thru the years like fiddle ,saxofon, flute, zither, kora, balalajka, accordion, bass, drums, lapsteel, piano, I've always returned to the guitar.

During the time I tried to play like big guys, I started singing. So eventually it turned out to be the voice that made it possible to make a livin out of it all. It has brought me around Europe and to the USA and keeps on enrich my life.

The center in my life is the village Järvdal (wolverine valley) in Vännäs community. I live in an old farmhouse with my wife Lisbeth and the children Ida, Anna, Emma and Josef. Besides that we stumble over the cats Maja, Timi and Bosy every time we open the door.
