During the Kurdish uprising in 1991, most of the city
offices and buildings were badly damaged.
The ugly site of these damaged building remained until 1996.
However, since The Kurdish Regional Government backed by
took responsibility in this area, the quest for rebuilding started.
These damaged sites and buildings were repaired,
renovated and upgraded to meet very high standards.
A quick look at the above mentioned accomplishments
and hundreds more is a clear indication how serious
the Kurdish Democratic Party is in dealing with these matters.
The aggressive pace at which many goals have been accomplished
is closely watched and highly appreciated by Kurds every.
It is definbitely something we all could be proud off.
