Född i Walthamstow den 6 oktober 1969.
An assured central defender who signed for the Royals in July 1998.
Polston is a former Spurs trainee who won England under 19 honours
whilst at White Hart Lane. He played a total of 28 senior games for
Spurs before his move to Norwich City in July 1990 for £300,000.
During his time at Carrow Road Polston proved to be integral part
of the City squad, but he missed most of last season through injury.
Returned to full fitness in September and scored his first goal for
the Club in the 1-1 draw med Oldham.
