Född i Alexandria 24 maj 1972.
Arrived at Elm Park on transfer deadline day for a fee of £420,000
from Kilmarnock and he signed a contract that will keep him at the
Club until June 2001. Jim was the costliest of Tommy Burns' first
week signings from Kilmarnock with whom he won the Scottish Cup at
Hampden Park last season. Also played in the Scottish Cup final for
his previous club, Airdrie, when they lost to Celtic in 1995.
Started his career with Bristol City and played against Reading
when he spent 15 games on loan with Exeter City in 1992/93. A
rangy, hard working striker who is capable of holding the ball
up and bringing others into play - Jim suffered with injury for
much of last season but has now recovered and is fighting for a
first team place.
