Van der Kwaak is a 6ft 4" goalkeeper who left FC Dordrecht under
the Bosman Ruling. Previous to playing at FC Dordrecht he was on
the books of Ajax. Made his debut for the Royals against Wrexham
in August 1998 but struggled with injury for a few months and
failed to win back a first team place.
