Kalantou-Gallery

	The trip starts in front of the hotel. Niels hired the jeep for the weekend to take us to Kalantou and Apollonas.		Here's a look to the right. That 'puddle' you see was filled with literally thousands of fish about 4 to 5 inches long.
	We stopped at an olive grove on the way up into the mountains. After you plant a tree it takes 75 years to get your first olive, but the tree can live for a thousand years.		On the way back near Filoti we stopped at a shrine. The Greeks like to build them high up. They believe it brings them closer to God.
	We've just passed through the town of Filoti as we climb higher into the mountains. Sean's looking back at it.		A closer look.
	Tried to show the steepness of the cliffs beside these winding roads we're travelling.		Patrik and Mattias have reached the top. Sean didn't think it was worth the effort.

	This one does it. The drops are so steep and you drive so close that you have a real feeling of vertigo all the time.		Up at the shrine looking back over the mountains and the road we just travelled.
	The steeper the drop the farther you reach with your pee.		Now looking towards Filoti again...the direction in which we are now going.
	Finally approaching our destination after nearly two hours of driving.		A closer look.
	Here's a closeup. We passed a dead dog in the road. The boys thought it was the highlight of the trip.		Almost home now. Stopped for lunch at a nice restaurant overlooking Agia Anna (Anna Beach). The beer went down well.
	Finally arrived. The pictures don't do the beach justice unfortunately.		The beach looked so inviting that we decided to take a swim before continuing on to the hotel.
