About Net Youth
Net Youth, or computer studio for young people which was its original name started in 1998.
Our project is designed to help roleplayers find their way on the internet,
and to make it easier to get in touch with other roleplayers.
This will then help roleplayers, throughout the world, since everyone with an internet account
will have access to our webbpage.
When we work on this computerproject for roleplayers, we will do all of the work ourselves,
the variation of the projectmembers skills is large.
So where one member don't know how to proceed another member will help. And should none of us
know, then someone else will always know. So the process of our work can always go on.
The activities in our community are limited. The only real organization is the sport movement,
and maybe one or two free theatre-groups. Thats not a lot, and since not everyone likes sport,
or have the possibility to go 40 kilometers to the nearest town where the other activites are.
Even we members live quite far apart so sometimes our only meeting place is the net.
So we thought like this: Our project will give everyone in our local community a chance to use
our computers, and then get some kids off the streets, and would they want to, in to our organization.
This will not help everyone, but as long as we can help someone we're happy. This project will also put
our small town on the map, and that is worth a great deal in itself, considering local, regional or
govermental support in different forms if they can see what we're doing is paying off, and that it would
encurage others do start own projects.
